    • Addresses:
Double-check that the deposit address is correct before finalizing the transaction, otherwise your funds will be lost.

Make a crypto payment using a PayPal account.
      Step 2
Due to PayPal imposing restrictions on merchants, we and most resellers no longer accept PayPal payments directly. However, there are a few workarounds that still allow you to use your PayPal account.

      PayPal Wallets

PayPal has its own crypto wallet, allowing you to buy, sell, and send crypto directly from your PayPal account without having to go through a third-party service. You can buy crypto using your PayPal balance, credit or debit card, or bank transfer.

      Gift Cards

Purchase a crypto gift card from an online retailer and redeem it to our wallet. Payments can be made with PayPal, credit or debit card, Google or Apple Pay, SEPA, Sofort, iDeal, bank transfers, or one of many other options. Personal details or ID verification might occasionally be required.

      Crypto Exchanges

Purchase crypto from an online crypto exchange. Certain types of exchanges allow you to quickly buy crypto without having to create an account. Payments can be made with PayPal, credit or debit card, Google or Apple Pay, SEPA, Sofort, iDeal, bank transfers, or one of many other options. Personal details and ID verification are typically required.

      Official Resellers

If none of the other options work for you, purchase a voucher from one of our official resellers. Resellers only accept credit cards and a few other payment options with slightly higher fees. However, they do not require personal details or ID verification and are therefore a good option if you want to avoid the hassle of crypto.

Purchase a voucher from an official reseller and redeem it instantly here on our website.

If you want to pay with cryptocurrencies, please do not go through a reseller, but use our own Bitcoin or Altcoin option instead, which is cheaper, easier, and faster than the crypto payments offered by resellers.
        Step 2
If you have not purchased from a reseller before, please familiarize yourself with the payment guide before continuing with the checkout, in order to avoid common mistakes.

        • Details:
You do not have to use your real personal details during checkout, but at least use a valid email address, since the voucher will be sent there.
        • Methods:
If some payment methods do not show up, try disabling or changing your VPN before visiting the reseller's website. Not all packages have credit card payments, so cycle through them until you find one that has.
        • Crypto:
Please do not use cryptocurrencies when purchasing from a reseller. Use our own Bitcoin or Altcoin checkout, which is cheaper, easier, and faster than going through a reseller.
        • Checkout:
You might be redirected to another website during checkout and the product might be labelled as a "language course" to keep the payment inconspicuous. You will receive an Orion voucher in the end.
        • Delivery:
Vouchers are emailed to you after payment. Check your spam folder if you cannot find it in your inbox. You can also use the order tracking feature on the reseller's website. The voucher has to be redeemed on our website.
        • Refunds:
Please avoid refunds and make sure your purchase is in order before committing. If there are any issues, please contact the reseller first before trying other ways through your bank.
        • Problems:
If you run into any issues or do not receive the voucher, please contact the reseller first and give them a week to reply. If the reseller cannot help, let us know and we will try to sort it out.

                      Fair Usage Policy
Unlimited accounts have no daily request limit like other premium accounts, as long as the usage is within reason. Unlimited accounts provide lifetime access. You therefore only pay once and never have to worry about renewals again.

Due to the lifetime nature of these accounts, discounts from existing subscriptions are not possible for all payment methods. Currently only cryptocurrency payments allow for discounts.

Unlimited accounts are subject to our Fair Usage Policy. Although no hard limits are imposed, accounts should be used within reason. Personal accounts are not allowed to be shared with other users or utilized to operate third-party services. Daily usage should be on par with what a normal user would consume. There is no problem if you are a binge watcher and consume more than the average user. However, if we detect excessive consumption and continues access from multiple locations, we reserve the right to temporarily block your account. If you disrupt the service for others, we reserve the right to permanently close your account.

The best way to store your crypto is in a self-custody wallet which gives you full control over your money. Since no intermediary company is involved, no account registration is needed. However, you are also 100% responsible for keeping your money safe. Therefore, make sure to keep a backup of your wallet's seed phrase, since this is the only way to recover your wallet if your device gets lost or something else goes wrong.

When creating an account with an exchange, you automatically get a wallet with the account. You can use the exchange wallet instead of your own self-custody wallet, however, there are a number of drawbacks. Firstly, you have to trust the exchange to keep your funds safe, since they control the wallet. Secondly, some exchanges have very high withdrawal fees, whereas self-custody wallets have lower and customizable fees. And thirdly, some exchange wallets have restrictions, like address whitelisting or withdrawal delays, which self-custody wallets do not. Also note that some of the gift cards can be redeemed directly into our wallet without you having to setup your own wallet first.

There are many different wallet apps you can use. Here are some suggestions of user-friendly wallets. They are all free, available on multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, Web3), support 100s of different coins and tokens, have customizable sending fees, and allow direct in-app purchase of crypto using a credit card.
                      Crypto Purchases
Purchase some crypto from any place you want. There are different types of crypto exchanges and other retailers you can buy crypto from, each of them having different payment methods and account requirements.
                      • Payment Apps:
Includes PayPal, CashApp, and Venmo. These are traditional payment apps that allow you to purchase crypto directly in the app. ID verification might be required, depending on your account status and history. The crypto wallet in these apps are only available to US, UK, and a few European and other countries. This is generally the easiest option if you already have an account with one of these payment providers.
                      • Gift Cards:
Includes CryptoVoucher, BitCard, and GiftMeCrypto. These are gift card resellers and gaming sites that sell crypto vouchers, which are then redeemed into a Bitcoin wallet. These retailers offer a range of different payments methods. However, depending on retailer and payment method, in some cases account registration or ID verification might be required. Please refer to our Gift Card Guide for more details.
                      • Wallet Purchases:
Includes Exodus, Atomic, and Coinomi. These are crypto wallet apps that allow you can buy crypto directly from within app using credit card or other means. Wallets use third-party services during checkout, which essentially follow the same process as the options listed under "Instant Purchases". Accounts are not required, but ID verification is common.
                      • Instant Purchases:
Includes ChangeNow, Changelly, and BitPay. These are exchanges that have an easy process to quickly purchase crypto with credit card or other means, without having to create an account. ID verification might still be required in certain situations, depending on the exchange, country, and payment method. This is considerably easier for newcomers or people who want to make a once-off purchase, since it is simple, does not require an account, and does not have all those advanced trading features that might be confusing.
                      • Advanced Exchanges:
Includes Coinbase, Binance, and Cryptocom. These are big and well-known crypto exchanges. They might be a bit overwhelming to newcomers, since they require account registration, full ID verification, and have a bunch of confusing trading and withdrawal options, but they have a wide range of payment methods. This type of exchange is suited for users who want good exchange rates, low fees, advanced features, or may want to purchase again in the future.
                      • P2P Exchanges:
Includes Paxful, HodlHodl, and LocalCoinSwap. These are exchanges where you can buy crypto directly from another person without going through and third-party exchange. They offer a wide range of payment methods, and depending on the exchange, often do not require account and ID verification. However, since you purchase directly from another person without an intermediary, this might be risky. Purchase smaller amount and only buy from top-rated sellers.
                      • Local Retailers:
Includes BitcoinBon and BitAccess. These are either online stores with region-specific payment methods, or local shops where you can buy crypto in-person. These are often larger chains, like grocery stores, that are limited to certain regions. Buying local mostly does not require an account or ID verification.
                      • Crypto ATMs:
Includes CoinAtmRadar. These are ATMs where you can buy crypto in-person using credit card or cash. Many traditional ATMs also sell crypto these days. Some might require ID verification while others do not.

Here are some reliable places you can buy from if you are uncertain where to start. Select the category to see the details, limits and requirements for each service.

                      Account Verification
Some places might require you to create an account with them, others do not. In most cases you will have to go through an ID verification process, which can be something as simple as providing personal details or doing a SMS phone verification, or something more complex like uploading a copy of your ID document or a selfie with you holding the ID. This is a very common practice in the crypto industry, called know-your-customer (KYC), and a legal requirement in most countries. Verification is once-off and only has to be done the first time you buy crypto, after which you will be able to buy more without having to go through the entire process again.

Whether or not you have to go through the ID verification process highly depends on a number of factors.
                      • Retailer Type:
Some retailers, like gift card resellers and instant buy stores, might not have verification, while others, especially payment apps and advanced exchanges, almost always require once-off verification.
                      • Payment Method:
Certain payment methods, especially those allowing refunds, are considered riskier and are therefore more likely to trigger verification.
                      • Payment Amount:
Many places, like gift card resellers and instant buy stores, might not require verification for smaller purchases, only for larger amounts. Try to stick to purchases below $50.
                      • Resident Country:
Certain countries have laxer rules and might not require verification at all. You can always change your VPN server and see if that changes anything.

Note that some places, especially gift card resellers, might not require ID verification before checkout. They might let the payment go through, and only afterwards put your order on hold, requiring verification before releasing the gift card. If at this point you do not want to submit documents to the retailer, you can just ask them to cancel the order and refund the money.
                      Network Selection
Whenever you send crypto, always make sure you are using the correct blockchain/network, without any smart contracts or layer-2 solutions. If you use the wrong options when sending crypto, your funds will be lost forever.

When sending crypto from an exchange, like Binance, you might see numerous withdrawal options with different fees. For instance, when withdrawing Bitcoin, you might be presented with an option to withdraw via the native Bitcoin chain (BTC) or the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Always pick the native chain, in this case BTC. Any other chain will not actually send Bitcoin, but rather a representative token (which is not Bitcoin), which cannot be processed by automated payment systems. If you send via the wrong network, your funds will be lost. You might be tempted to pick one of the alterative options, because the fees are considerably lower. But always stick to the native chain, even if the fees are higher. If you are concerned about the exchange's withdrawal fee, transfer all of your funds to an external wallet, and then make payments from there which needs less fees

Certain coins, especially stablecoins like USDT and USDC, do not have their own blockchains, but run on top of another blockchain, like Ethereum or Tron. Hence, you can send the same stablecoin via a number of different networks. Do not just choose any random network you like. Instead, you will see the blockchain name listed next to the coin name during Altcoin checkout on our website. For instance, TetherETH means that the Tether (USDT) has to be sent over the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain. Sending the USDT over any other network, like TRX, SOL, or BSC, will go undetected by the automated payment systems and your funds will be lost.

Do not use any smart contracts or layer-2 solutions. This includes Arbitrum (ARB), Base (BASE), Polygon (MATIC), Optimism (OP), or Mantle (MNT), just to mention a few. These layer-2 solutions might have lower fees and quicker processing times, but they wrap the token in a smart contract which cannot be processed by automated payment systems and your funds will be lost.

To summarize, when sending coins, always use the native blockchain. Hence, BTC should be send over the Bitcoin network and ETH should be send over the Ethereum network. When sending stablecoins or tokens, check the network they should be send over, which is shown on our website during checkout. Never use any smart contracts or layer-2 solutions, even if their lower fees look tempting.
                      Exchange Withdrawals
When buying at, or sending/withdrawing from a crypto exchange, please take note of the following nuances.
                      • Withdrawal Security:
For security reasons, some exchanges delay withdrawals or require you to take action before the withdrawal is processed.
                      • Withdrawal Options:
Some exchanges provide different withdrawal options. Always stick to the main/native blockchain, without any smart contracts or layer-2 solutions, even if the fees are higher.
                      • Withdrawal Fees:
Some exchanges have high withdrawal fees, which can be mitigated by using an external self-custody wallet.

To prevent hackers from draining your account, most exchanges have security features in place for withdrawals. This typically applies to withdrawing to a new address you have not send funds to before. Since addresses generated by Orion are unique, this will happen every time you send funds from your exchange wallet to ours. This can be one or more of the following mechanisms. Firstly, your withdrawal might be pending until 2FA is triggered, like clicking a verification link in an email sent by the exchange. Secondly, the exchange might require you to whitelist new addresses. That is, you have to add the address you want to withdraw to, to your exchange account's list of accepted addresses, before you can withdraw to it. Finally, some exchanges might delay withdrawals by 24 – 48 hours, allowing you to take action if it was an unauthorized transaction by hackers. After this period has elapsed, the transaction will go through automatically. Note that our Bitcoin addresses are valid for 7 days, so you do not have to worry about this delay when sending Bitcoin. But certain Altcoin addresses already expire after 24 hours. If your exchange has these delays, just use Bitcoin, or when using Altcoins, either whitelist the address before withdrawing, or send the funds to your own external wallet first (which you already whitelisted) and then make payments from your personal wallet (which does not have any such delays).

Some exchanges have high withdrawal fees, typically a fixed rate of $10 - $30 per withdrawal, which is excessive if you want to send only a few dollars. If your exchange offers cheaper withdrawal options, such as withdrawing over a different blockchain (eg sending Bitcoin over the BSC network) or using layer-2 solutions (eg sending via Arbitrum or Base), do not use these options, since they will lead to your funds being lost. Always send a coin over its native chain, even if the fees are higher. If the exchange's withdrawal fee is too high for you, you can do the following. Purchase a larger amount of Bitcoin (eg $100) such that the fee is comparatively low. Withdraw the entire amount to your own external wallet in one go, paying the withdrawal fee (eg $20) only once. Then make payments to merchants from your personal wallet, which will only cost the standard network fee of $1 - $3, depending on the current Bitcoin network load.
                      Network Fees
Every time you make a crypto transaction, you will have to pay a small so-called network fee, which goes to the miners as a reward for verifying your transaction.

Self-custody wallets will automatically calculate the transaction fee, based on the current network load. If a blockchain is very busy, the fees will be considerably higher than usual. Wait a few hours before making the payment, so that the network load can dial down again and with it, the fees as well. If you think that the automatically calculated fee is too high, you can specify a lower custom fee. Do not go too low, otherwise the network will not prioritize your transaction and it might take a long time to get verified. Newcomers should stick to the default fee calculated by their wallets. The current Bitcoin fee is tracked by Mempool and the Ethereum gas price by Etherscan. Stick to a fee that is close to the one on shown by the trackers, no more than 30% lower. When the network is relatively idle with low fees, stay above 10sat (no less than 6sat) for Bitcoin, and above 8gwei (no less than 5gwei) for Ethereum. During busy periods, the network fees might be multiple times higher. Some wallets might also allow you to bump-up/increase the fee of an already submitted transaction in order to speed it up. However, this depends on the wallet app and the coin used.

When sending funds from an exchange wallet, you will have little to no control over the fee. Most exchanges have a fixed withdrawal fee of $10 - $30. Do not pick cheaper withdrawal options offered by your exchange, since they will use third-party blockchains or layer-2 solutions that cannot be processed by automated payment systems and will result in your funds being lost. Always stick to the coin's native blockchain. If the fixed withdrawal fee is too high, especially if you only want to send a small amount, transfer all your funds in one go from your exchange wallet into your own self-custody wallet, and then make payments from your own wallet which will has considerably lower fees.
                      Checking Details
Before clicking the final "Send" or "Withdraw" button in your wallet, double-check that all details are correct. Incorrect details might lead to your funds being lost.
                      • Network:
Check that you have selected the correct blockchain/network without using smart contracts or layer-2 solutions, like Arbitrum or Base. Using the wrong blockchain or layer-2 solutions will result in your funds being lost.
                      • Address:
Check the first and last few characters of the deposit address to ensure it is correct. Do not just copy-paste without verifying the address is correct. Sending to the wrong address will result in your funds being lost.
                      • Reference:
Some coins, like XRP, XLM, and EOS, also need a payment reference, like a memo or destination tag. This will be shown during checkout if required. Not entering a reference when required will result in your funds being lost.
                      • Amount:
Check that the amount you entered is correct. For Bitcoin payments you can send any amount, more or less. For Altcoin payments you can always send more than the indicated amount, but do not send less, otherwise the payment might fail.
                      • Fees:
Check that the fee you are using is not overpaying or underpaying according to the current average fee. Or stick to the default fee calculated by your wallet.

Note that all crypto transactions are by nature permanent, non-reversible, and non-refundable. So always verify the details before finalizing the transaction.
                      Gift Card Guide
You can buy a crypto gift card from an online gift shop or gaming site using traditional payment methods, like credit card, Google or Apple Pay, bank transfers, or other methods. The gift card is then redeemed into Bitcoin.
                      Step 1
Head over to one of the vendors and purchase a gift card from them directly, or through one of their retailers, which are typically gift card resellers or gaming stores. Different retailers have different payment options, prices, and impose different restrictions as discussed below. Choose one that fits your needs and accepts the payment option of your choice. There are a number of gift card vendors which mostly sell through the same retailers.
                      • CryptoVoucher:
Direct, G2A, Dundle, Baxity, ShoppyCode, Kinguin, OffGamers, GameCardsDirect, MMOGA, MoonTopup, DigitalCodes, Flexepin, CoinsBee, ARPay, RoyalCDKeys, PureSoftware, BuySellVouchers, Getacodes, Addn, VidaPlayer, DifMark, WowGames, ElectronicFirst, GitcardCabin, Keye, KarteDirekt, ChilePremium.
                      • BitCard:
                        GiftCards.
                      • GiftMeCrypto:

                      • Azteco:
G2A, Baxity, Kinguin, OffGamers, Eneba, MoonTopup, Driffle, VouchersDepot, CYSend.
                      • Bitnovo:
Direct, Local Stores, Bitcoin ATMs, G2A, Dundle, Kinguin, OffGamers, GameCardsDirect, Eneba, MoonTopup, Driffle, Gueez, GameHag, CoinsBee.
                      Step 2
Choose the value of the gift card. Most gift cards have a fixed value, like $20 or €50, but some also allow custom amounts. If you purchase a Bitcoin gift card, the exact amount on the gift card is not important. Once you deposit any arbitrary amount into an Orion address, your subscription will be recharged proportionally to the gift card's value. Hence, if your 1-year subscription costs $25 and you redeem a $50 gift card, you will get a 2-year subscription. It might be a good idea to purchase a lower denomination gift card first, in order to familiarize yourself with the checkout and redemption process, before buying a more expensive one.
                      Step 3
Check the country in which the gift card can be redeemed in. This information should be displayed on the retailer's product page before you add it to the cart. Some gift cards can only be used in the United States or Europe, while others can be used worldwide. You might also notice that some gift cards are denominated in US Dollars while others are given in Euros. Make sure to pick the correct one for your country.
                      Step 4
Select the payment method of choice. The availability depends on the retailer, gift card type, and country.
                      • PayPal:
Use your PayPal account. Available in most countries.
                      • Google Pay:

                      • Credit Card:
Use your credit card. Available in almost all countries.
                      • Debit Card:

Use Sofort payment option. Available in some European countries.
                      • iDeal:
Use iDeal payment option. Available in some European countries.
                      • Other:
Use one of many other payment options. Available in most countries.
                      Step 5
Some shops might require you to create an account first, while others allow you to checkout immediately without an account. Many retailers do not require personal details, phone or ID verification. However, do not be surprised if the retailer asks for your phone number or ID, since you are indirectly purchasing crypto and such verification procedures are standard in the crypto industry. These verification producers are relatively easy and quick, either sending a unique SMS code to your phone, or uploading a copy of your ID.

Also note that some retailers might allow you to purchase a voucher without verification, but only after the payment went through, will your order be put on hold until the verification has been completed before releasing the gift card. If you run into this situation and do not want to submit any personal details to the company, you can always request a refund from them, which they typically do without hassle.

The verification process might only be required for some users under certain conditions.
                      • Retailer Type:
There are various retailers to choose from. Many of them sell a range of different crypto gift cards. Some retailers might require verification while others do not.
                      • Retailer Country:
Depending on the country the retailer operates from, certain legal restrictions in that country might require them to verify the identity of users. Some countries do not have such requirements.
                      • Your Country:
Depending on the country you are assessing the website from, certain legal restrictions in that country might require retailers to verify the identity of users. You can always use a VPN to change your country and see if that changes anything. But note that some retailers might be able to detect that you are using a VPN and therefore impose more restrictions, since it is considered risky.
                      • Payment Method:
Certain payment methods will require verification while others do not. Since PayPal allows refunds, it is often considered risky by retailers and they therefore require some additional details to prevent fraud where users request refunds after having already redeemed the gift card. Other payment methods, like bank transfers, are less risky for the retailer and might not trigger the verification process.
                      • Gift Card Value:
The verification is often only triggered by larger purchases. Smaller denomination gift cards, like $10 or $20, are often sold without requiring further details.
                      • Gift Card Type:
There are multiple different crypto gift cards you can choose from. Some might have more restrictions than other.
                      • Account History:
If you create an account with the retailer, you only have to do the verification once. After that you can purchase more gift cards from them without having to verify again.
                      Step 6
Once you purchased a gift card, it will be emailed to you or displayed on the retailer's website.
                      Step 7
Head over to Orion's website and initiate a new Bitcoin payment if you have not already done so. During the checkout you will be presented with a QR code and a unique Bitcoin wallet address that will be used in the next step.
                      Step 8
Redeem the gift card into a Bitcoin wallet, which can be done in one of the following ways, depending on the type of gift card.
                      • Orion Wallet:
Redeem the Bitcoin directly into the unique Bitcoin address that is generated on Orion's website during checkout. This is the quickest option, since you do not need to setup your own wallet. It also has lower fees, since only a single Bitcoin transaction is made.
                      • Vendor Wallet:
Certain gift card vendors might allow you to create your own account and Bitcoin wallet directly on their website. Some vendors might even make this compulsory, so that you can only redeem the voucher into their wallet. This is not a problem, you will then just have to send the Bitcoin from the redemption wallet into the unique Bitcoin wallet that is generated on Orion's website during checkout. There will be some send or withdrawal option in the vendor's online wallet. This needs an additional Bitcoin transaction and will therefore require an extra fee. It is also not recommended to leave any Bitcoin in the vendor's wallet for long. Although it probably is fine, you should not trust a company to keep your funds safe. Either send the entire gift card amount to Orion, or only send part of it to Orion, and the rest into your own personal wallet.
                      • Personal Wallet:
You can create your own personal wallet and redeem the gift card into it. Then send funds from your personal wallet into the unique Bitcoin wallet that is generated on Orion's website during checkout. Please read our Crypto Guide for recommended wallet apps and tips on how to manage your own crypto. This option is useful if you do not want to send the entire gift card to Orion. You might want to buy a $100 gift card, use $20 for your Orion subscription, and keep the remaining $80 for later.
                      Step 9
After you redeemed the gift card or sent the funds from your wallet into Orion's wallet, you can close the vendor's and Orion's website. Once the Bitcoin network has confirmed your transaction, our system will automatically detect it and update your subscription. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on how busy the Bitcoin network is at that moment, but typically it takes less than an hour.

Note that various fees might be involved during gift card redemption. The vendor might take a small commission, use higher Bitcoin exchange rates, or deduct Bitcoin network fees. Hence, the subscription time estimated during Orion's checkout is only a rough approximation and might deviate from the final time added to your subscription. Generally, it is better to buy a slightly higher valued gift card, like $50 or $100, since the total deducted fees will be smaller percentage-wise than buying lower values ones, like $5 or $10.
                      Step 10
Please read our Crypto Guide if you are new to crypto, are paying with Altcoins, or want to avoid common mistakes that might lead to your funds being lost.
                      PayPal Guide
PayPal now has its own internal crypto wallet. You can buy, sell, and send crypto directly from your PayPal account without having to go through a third-party service or having to create accounts with other providers. You can buy crypto using your PayPal balance, credit or debit card, or bank transfer without ever leaving the app.

Currently crypto wallets are only supported in the PayPal app, not through the website. Although PayPal made the wallet only available to US and UK customers at first, they since have rolled it out to a number of European and other countries. Just check the app if you are uncertain about the availability in your country. PayPal might also require additional account verification for certain crypto features, depending on your country and account history.

We also support the PayPal USD (PYUSD) stablecoin under our Altcoin payments. If you have PYUSD in your PayPal wallet, you can use it directly for payments without having to exchange it for Bitcoin first.

More details about PayPal crypto wallets can be found here:
The step-wise process to make crypto payments from the PayPal app is shown below.
                      Step 1
Open the PayPal app and click the "Buy and Sell" button under the "Crypto" section on the "Dashboard". You can purchase crypto using one of the following options which depend on your PayPal account status and country.
                      • PayPal Balance:
                        Use your existing PayPal balance.
                      • Credit Card:
Use your credit card linked to your PayPal account.
                      • Debit Card:
Use your debit card linked to your PayPal account.
                      • Bank Transfer:
Use your bank account and transfer funds to your PayPal account.
                      Step 2
Click the "Bitcoin" option under the "Finances" tab. Stick to Bitcoin if you are a first-time user, although other coins are also possible.
                      Step 3
Click the "Buy" button on the Bitcoin details page. Purchase some Bitcoin using your preferred payment method.
                      Step 4
Once you purchased some Bitcoin, click the "Transfer" button (two little arrows) on the Bitcoin details page.
                      Step 5
Click the "Send BTC" option from the action dialog.
                      Step 6
Initiate a Bitcoin payment on Orion's website if you have not already done so. Go through the checkout process until you see the payment details with the QR code. Copy the Bitcoin address displayed on Orion's website and paste it into the "Search" box in PayPal. Do not send the Bitcoin to another PayPal account or email address, but use the external address instead. Our Bitcoin deposit addresses are valid for up to 7 days, hence you have some time to send the funds. On the other hand, most of our Altcoin addresses (Ethereum, stablecoins, memecoins, etc) are only valid for up to 24 hours. Some Altcoin addresses might still function for longer, but this is not guaranteed and might cause the payment to fail. Hence, if you need longer to make the deposit, rather generate a new address by initiating a fresh payment on our website.
                      Step 7
The generated Orion address is new and unique, so PayPal will not find this address as an existing option through the search box. Just copy and paste the raw address into the search box and make sure that the address is correct before continuing. Your deposit address will differ to the one in screenshot.
                      Step 8
Enter the Bitcoin amount as displayed on the Orion checkout page. The amount will differ to the screenshot, depending on the package selected and the current Bitcoin exchange rate. Stick to the exact amount if you are a first-time user, although variable amounts are possible, which will be added pro-rata to your subscription. Our Bitcoin payments do not require a specific amount. You can send any amount and your subscription will be updated proportionally to the amount deposited. On the other hand, Altcoin payments (Ethereum, stablecoins, memecoins, etc) are more sensitive to the amount deposited. You can always send more than the stated amount, but sending less might cause the payment to fail.
                      Step 9
Verify that the address and amount is correct before clicking the "Next" button. Note that Bitcoin transactions are permanent and cannot be reversed, so double-check the payments details. Once the Bitcoin was sent, you can close the PayPal app and Orion's website. Once the Bitcoin network has confirmed your transaction, our system will automatically detect it and update your subscription. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on how busy the Bitcoin network is at that moment, but typically it takes less than an hour.
                      Step 10
Please read our Crypto Guide if you are new to crypto, are paying with Altcoins, or want to avoid common mistakes that might lead to your funds being lost.
                      Reseller Guide
You can buy a voucher from one of our official resellers and redeem it here on our website.

Buying from resellers is an alternative if you do not want to touch crypto at all. Although their checkout is not the best and they have higher prices, they at least offer traditional payment methods, do not require personal details, third-party accounts, or ID verification.

Although the reseller's checkout process can look a bit dodgy, please note that we have been in partnership with them for years and they have been reliable and always sent out the vouchers that customers paid for. However, resellers have slow and shitty customer support. Please refer to the last section for more details on this.
                      Step 1
                      Choose one of the resellers.
                      • KeyOneClick:
Recommended. Credit card and other payment methods available. Vouchers for all packages.
                      • uTop:
Other payment methods available. Only vouchers for yearly subscriptions.
                      Step 2
Head over to the reseller's website and select a voucher. You do not have to provide real personal details when asked, but at least use a valid email address, since the voucher will be sent there.
                      Step 3
Choose a payment method. There will be different options available, based on the country you selected on the reseller's website during checkout. The resellers currently offer these payment options, but they might change over time.
                      • KeyOneClick:
                        Credit card, WebMoney, Perfect Money.
                      • uTop:
SEPA, Alipay, Paysera, WebMoney, Perfect Money, UPI Payments.

If the credit card option does not show on KeyOneClick, please disable your VPN or proxy if you have one. If you do not want to disable your VPN, you can try changing the VPN server to a small country, like one of the Baltic states, reload the reseller's page and check if the credit card option is now visible. Also note that not all vouchers offered by KeyOneClick have credit card payments. This especially applies to the cheaper vouchers, which might have higher credit card processing fees than the voucher is worth. Just cycle through the vouchers with your VPN disabled until you find one that has the credit card option.

Some payment methods not listed above might appear from time to time. KeyOneClick occasionally has PayPal payments, but that has become rarer since PayPal introduced stricter limits on merchants. uTop occasionally has credit card payments, at least for some countries.

Please do not pay resellers with cryptocurrencies. If you are planning on paying with crypto, please use our own direct crypto checkout on our website. Our crypto payments are cheaper, faster, and are processed automatically. Crypto payments from resellers are more expensive, slower, and are processed manually by the reseller, which might take more than a week until you receive the voucher.
                      Step 4
During checkout, resellers might redirect you to another website to finalize the payment. They might also use a different label for the product during checkout, like a "language course". They do this to stay inconspicuous and to ensure that a discreet description shows up on your bank statement. Just continue with the payment. The reseller will send you an Orion voucher in the end, not a language course.
                      Step 5
Once the payment was completed, you should receive the voucher code via email within 10 minutes. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find the email in your inbox. Alternatively, you can use the order tracking feature on the reseller's website to retrieve the voucher.

The voucher has to be redeemed on our website, under the "Voucher" section of the "Payments" tab. If you do not redeem the voucher, your subscription will not be updated automatically, since the reseller's and our systems are not linked.

In rare cases the voucher might not be emailed after payment, such as failed credit card payments or insufficient balances. If you do see funds subtracted from your bank account without having received a voucher, please contact the reseller to send a new voucher or to get a refund.

Also note that cryptocurrency payments are processed manually by the resellers. It might therefore take 1 to 2 weeks until they finally send out the voucher email. Please use our own crypto checkout on our website, which is processed fully automatic.
                      Step 6
Generally, resellers do not provide refunds, due to admin and other costs involved. Please double-check your order before finalizing the payment to avoid any possible refunds. If something went wrong with the payment, like funds being deducted from your bank account without having received a voucher, please contact the reseller first before trying other ways through your bank. They typically do refund these types of failed transactions.

Note that resellers do not have the best customer support. It can take from a few days to a few weeks for them to reply to emails. Sadly, there is not much we can do about this. But we have been in partnership with the resellers for years and they have always sent out the vouchers, eventually. If you contact a reseller, please allow 2 weeks for a reply, or at least 1 week. If you have still not received feedback from them by then, please contact us and we will try to sort it out from our side.
You can upgrade or downgrade your package at any time. Your current subscription will be added pro-rata to your new subscription.

You can upgrade to a higher package at any time by going through the normal checkout process. Direct payments will have a discounted price and you therefore only have to pay the difference. Vouchers purchased from resellers have a fixed price and your current subscription time will be added proportionally to your new subscription.

                      or

You can downgrade to a lower package at any time by going through the normal checkout process. If the downgraded package is more expensive than your remaining subscription time, you will only have to pay the difference. If the downgraded package is cheaper, you will not have to pay anything and your current subscription time will be added proportionally to your new subscription.

                      API Updates
The following changes where made to Orion for the version 5 update.

                      Premium Features
Various API features that were previously only available to premium accounts, are now available to all users, including those with free accounts. Note that these advanced features might deduct additional points from the daily limit, due to the overhead of these operations. This is in addition to the standard deduction calculated from the number of links retrieved. Deductions apply to both premium and free accounts. The following tasks are considered advanced features:
                      • Best Sorting: Sort the streams based on a combination of attributes. This task requires additional computations for every stream retrieved, and will therefore slightly increase the query time.
                      • File Matching: Filter out streams with file names that match a custom regular expression. This task requires additional computations for every stream retrieved, and will therefore slightly increase the query time.
                      • Cache Lookups: Find the latest debrid cache status of links. This task requires additional computations and multiple requests to external debrid servers, and will therefore considerably increase the query time.
                      Returned JSON Data
The JSON data returned by the API has changed. The previous object named requests has been renamed to usage. There is also a new nested object named request which breaks down how the point deductions are calculated, based on the tasks that are invoked during the API call. Note that each of the tasks has a different weight contributing to the point deduction, depending on the number of streams that have to be processed and the complexity of the task.
                      • fetch: Retrieving the streams from the database.
                      • match: Matching the streams against a regular expression.
                      • lookup: Doing a fresh debrid cache lookup on the streams.
                      • sort: Sorting the streams according to a specified attribute.
                      • total: The summed-up points deducted from the daily limit.
A new match object is also returned if the filematch parameter was used, providing further debugging details on the regular expression.

                      New API Parameters
New parameters were added to the API.
                      • filematch: Match the file names against a custom regular expression. This offers more versatile matching options than the basic filename parameter. This is subject to additional deductions from the daily limit.
                      • filelanguages: Search either the audio language or the subtitle language. This is useful if you want to search streams in a specific language, but do not care if it is the audio or the subtitles. This returns more links than when using the audiolanguages or subtitlelanguages parameters separately or in combination.
                      Updated API Parameters
                      Existing API parameters were updated.
                      • filename: Search for a substring within the file name. Previously keywords could only be included. Now keywords can also be excluded by adding a minus in front of it. This only does basic substring matching. For more advanced pattern matching use the filematch parameter.
                      Kodi Addon
The Kodi addon was updated to accommodate the new API features. The addon now also adheres to the new settings standard used by Kodi 19 and later. This makes the new Orion v5 incompatible with Kodi 18 or earlier.

Consider upgrading if you are still running Kodi 18 or earlier. If for some reason you cannot upgrade and have to stick to the old Kodi, you can still use the old Orion v4 addon. It will work, but not have any of the new API features.
Use the open-source key if you want to quickly test Orion's API without having to register a new app. This key is for private and personal use only. Do not use it for a long-term projects or public apps.
                      or
Apply for a custom key if you plan on using the API for a long time or for public apps. This key is for your use only. Do not share the key with other users or developers.
This application is only intended for developers. This application is also not intended for Stremio, since Orion is already supported in Stremio. Orion can be installed through Stremio's "app store", or by following the instructions here on the website:
                      Addons ⇒ Packages ⇒ Stremio

Do not submit an application if you are a normal user and are not planning to write code yourself. If you are a normal user looking for your API key to authenticate your account in Kodi or another app, you can find it here on the website:
Account ⇒ Profile ⇒ API Key

Only apply for a custom key if you have a proper app with most of the info required below. If you only want a key to test our API or to use for a small personal home project, please use the above open-source test key instead. The test key will give you access to everything you need in the API. If you still want to apply for a custom key, please provide detailed info below. Choose a proper name and description, preferably with a website, Github, repo, or app store link. Generic app names like "Kodi" will be rejected.

                      API Authentication
Authentication can be done in one of two ways:
                      • API Keys: Each API request has a set of keys to identify the app and the user. Using API keys is easy from a developer's perspective, but might be tedious for users, since a long and complex key has to be entered in your app settings. Each request requires two API key parameters:
                        • App Key: Each website, addon, or standalone program that connects to Orion's API requires a unique app key. This key should be hardcoded in your code and will be the same for all your users. If you have not already done so, register your app with Orion to get a new key, it's easy and free. Please do not share API keys between apps. If you develop multiple apps, please use a separate key per app.
                        • User Key: Each Orion user will receive a unique API key. Your app should provide an option that allows users to enter their own user key. Users are not allowed to share their API keys.
                      • API Token: The app makes an authentication request to the API and receives a unique code. This code is shown to the user, who then enters it on Orion's website. Once the user has approved the authentication, the app receives a token that is used for all subsequent requests. Token authentication requires a little more coding, but has a number of advantages over traditional API keys. Firstly, the authentication is simplified for the user, since only a short code has to be entered, instead of long API key. Secondly, the user can complete the authentication on a different device, which is useful for devices with limited input capabilities, such as TVs and media boxes. Thirdly, tokens do not expose the API keys, which is useful for GET requests where the parameters are not encrypted. Finally, this authentication method can also make use of a QR code, further simplifying the process for the user.
                      API Searches
Streams can be searched in one of two ways:
                      • Query String: Search for streams using a query string. The movie or show with the highest correlated match is returned. Using this method is not advised, since it might return incorrect results if the search query is not properly formulated. Queries also take a lot longer to execute.
                      • ID and Number: Search for streams using the Orion, IMDb, TMDb, TVDb, TVRage, or Trakt ID. The Trakt slug can also be used. You can use the ID for the movie, show, or individual episode. If you search using a show ID, you also have to provide the season and episode number. Using this method is advised, since it always returns correct results for the given ID, and is a lot faster to execute.
                      API Types
The range data type has one of the following formats:
                      • Full Range: An underscore (_) separated range of values with the format X_Y, or mathematically [X,Y]. Values between the lower bound X and the upper bound Y are matched. For example videoquality=sd_hd1080.
                      • Partial Range: A underscore (_) separated range of values with the format format X_ or _Y. Mathematically X_ is [X,∞] and _Y is [-∞,Y]. X_ matches values above the lower bound X with no upper bound, for example videoquality=sd_. _Y matches values below the upper bound Y with no lower bound, for example videoquality=_hd1080.
The selection data type has one of the following formats:
                      • Single Value: A single value that is matched, for example videoquality=hd1080.
                      • Value List: A comma (,) separated list of values with the format X,Y,Z. The list can contain any number of values. Values starting with a minus (-) are excluded from the match, for example videocodec=-h265,-h264. List values starting with a plus (+) or no prefix at all are included in the match, for example videocodec=h265,+h264.
The list data type has one of the following formats:
                      • JSON Array: When making a JSON request, lists must be passed in as a JSON array, for example {"links" : ["link1", "link2"]}.
                      • URL Array: When making a GET or POST request, lists must be passed in as an URL array, for example links[]=link1&links[]=link2.
                      API Endpoints
This section provides a list of available API parameters, possible values, and a few examples on how to invoke the endpoints.

                      Authentication API
The API endpoints for authenticating a user.
                      User Authentication
Authenticate a user through an interactive process, similar to how oAuth works. If you choose to use tradtional API key authentication, this step can be skipped. The process should be handled as follows:
                      1. Make a request with your app API key to the authentication endpoint. The following details are returned:
                        • link: A link that the user has to visit in a browser.
                        • code: A short code that the user has to enter on the visited website.
                        • qr: A link to a QR code image that redirects to the link when scanned.
                        • interval: The minimum interval, in seconds, that your subsequent API requests should be apart.
                        • expiration: The UTC timestamp after which the code will expire.
Display the link and code, or the QR code, or both, to the user.
                      2. The user opens the link in a browser, logs into Orion, and enters the given code.
                      3. While the user is busy with the previous step, your app should continuously make API requests with the given code to check if the authentication was completed by the user. These requests should be done every few seconds, according to the interval parameter returned by the first request. This request is identical to the first request, except that you also add the code parameter. The following can be returned by the request:
                        • userauthpending (success): The authentication process is still pending, waiting for the user's approval. You should continue making the API requests until a different result is returned.
                        • userauthapprove (success): The user has approved access for your app. The request contains a token parameter you should use for all subsequent requests.
                        • userauthinreject (error): The user completed the process, but rejected access for your app. You should cancel the authentication process in your app.
                        • userauthexpired (error): The user did not complete the authentication within the stipulated time period. The code will no longer work and the entire process has to be restarted.
                      4. All subsequent API requests should be accompanied by the token parameter. There is no need to any API keys to requests anymore. Note that the token contains both the app's and the user's encrypted API keys. If either of these keys change in the future, the token will be invalidated and the user will have to authenticate again.

                      Stream API
The API endpoints for streams and metadata.
                      Stream Search
Search for a list of stream links.

Note that in addition to the number of retrieved streams deducted from the user's daily link limit, the debridlookup, filematch, and sort=best options might subtract additional points from the limit. Each of these parameters has a weighted contribution to the daily link limit, depending on the complexity of the task. Hence, if 100 links are retrieved, more than 100 points might be deducted from the limit if these features are utilized. If you decide to incorporate these options, consider allowing users to disable them in your app settings.

Requests are subject to the user's daily link limit.

                      [0,∞]
                      500
The maximum number of streams to return. If not specified, all available links are returned. Make sure to specify a limit, since without one you might use up the entire daily limit with one query.
                      limitretry
                      No
                      Integer
                      [0,∞]
                      100
The maximum number of streams to return if the normal search fails. If the filters are too restrictive, no streams are returned. A second search can be conducted without any of the filters and its own link limit. By default this option is disabled.

                      [0,∞]
                      200
The links to return according to an offset starting from 0. If the offset is set to X, the first X links are skipped and only the links thereafter are returned. Either a limit offset or page should be provided, but not both.
                      limitpage
                      No
                      Integer
                      [1,∞]
                      2
The links to return according to a page offset starting from 1. This works similar to the normal offset. If the count limit is set to X and the page to Y, then an offset of (X * (Y + 1)) is used. Hence, the offset is specified in large pages instead of individual links. Either a limit offset or page should be provided, but not both.

Only streams that are cached with a debrid service, direct hoster links that do not require an account, or indirect hoster links that require an account or URL resolver, are returned. The cached access status can be checked for all or specific stream types, namely torrents, usenet, and hosters.

Do a fresh cache lookup on the debrid server to determine the current cache status. If no lookup is done, the previously known cache status is returned instead. The all options retrieves the cache status for all debrid services, whereas the user option only retrieves the cache status of debrid services authenticated by the user. Note that using this option will increase the duration of the API request. Users should authorize their debrid account on Orion's website.

Add resolving debrid links to the results. The streaming link is only added as a debrid attribute to the results if the user has at least one debrid account authenticated with Orion. If this link is visited, Orion resolves the link with a debrid service and automatically redirects to the debrid file for immediate downloading or streaming. This feature is useful if your app does not have its own debrid functionality. If the value of this parameter is set to user, the first available debrid service authenticated by the user is automatically selected. Alternatively, you can specify the debrid service of choice. More information on the options can be found under the Debrid Resolve endpoint documentation.

The file name of the stream. If set to true, only streams with a file name will be retrieved. If set to false, only streams without a file name will be retrieved. Alternatively, a comma-separated list of keywords that must match the file name can be passed. Keywords starting with a - are excluded, otherwise they are included. All keywords are ANDed together in lowercase, hence all of the included keywords and none of the excluded keywords must be present in the file name. Note that this matches any substring in the file name, not only full words. Hence, "en" will not only match the English language code, but also any word that contains the substring "en", like "french". Spaces and other special characters have to be URL-encoded. For more advanced file name matching, use the filematch parameter.

                      Response
The request returns the binary data of the container file on success. On failure, such as the container not exisiting, or the daily limit being reached, a standard JSON response with the error will be returned. Check the response's content type to determine the success or failure of the download.
                      Debrid API
The API endpoints for interfacing with external debrid services.
                      Debrid Support
Determine the networks and hosters supported by various debrid services, by retrieving regular expressions, domains, and the active statuses.

This request might take some, since calls are made to external APIs. You should therefore use a timeout of at least 30 seconds, depended on the number of debrid services to check. This feature does not require users to have their debrid account authenticated with Orion, but it is recommended for additional functionality.

Requests can be made with one of the following parameters:
                      • No IDs or links, to retrieve detailed data for all stream types and hosters.
                      • A single item ID and a list of stream IDs, to determine debrid support for the given IDs.
                      • A list of torrent, usenet, and hoster links, to determine debrid support for the given links.
Requests are subject to the user's daily hash limit. If possible, developers should not submit IDs or links to this endpoint, since if will use more of the user's daily hash limit. A better way is to retrieve the regular expressions from this endpoint and match them locally in the app.

                      Debrid Lookup
Look up the cached status of a file on a debrid server. Cached files can be streamed directly from a debrid server without having to wait for the download to complete.

This request might take very long, since calls are made to external APIs. You should therefore use a timeout of at least 60 seconds, depended on the number of debrid services, links and hashes to check. Free users must have their debrid account authenticated with Orion for this feature. Premium users can make cache lookups even without a debrid account.

Requests can be made with one of the following parameters:
                      • A single item ID and a list of stream IDs.
                      • A list of torrent hashes.
                      • A list of hoster links.
                      • A combination of the previous options.
Lookups can also be done as part of the stream search API request using the debridlookup parameter, without the need of a separate request to this endpoint. Doing the lookup during stream searching is recommended. Calls to this API endpoint should only be done if no other option is possible.

This API request should never be made for individual links. If you have multiple links to look up, you should add them all to a single API request. If there have many links to check and you make a separate API request for each link in parallel, you put a heavy load on both our server and debrid servers. Our system will start dropping connections if too many are established simultaneously.

Requests are subject to the user's daily link limit. Free users need at least one debrid account authenticated with Orion.

                      lookup
The API action which should be set to lookup for this query.
                      keyapp
                      Yes
                      String
                      AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
The app API key. Either use the app and user API keys, or the authentication token.
                      keyuser
                      Yes
                      String
                      BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB
The user API key. Either use the app and user API keys, or the authentication token.
                      token
                      Yes
                      String
                      X1Y2X1Y2X1Y2X1Y2X1Y2X1Y2X1Y2X1Y2
The authentication token. Either use the app and user API keys, or the authentication token.
                      type
                      Yes
                      Selection
                      all / user / premiumize / offcloud / realdebrid / debridlink / alldebrid
                      premiumize,realdebrid
The debrid cache to look up. The user option automatically selects the debrid services authenticated by the user. The all option looks up the cache of all debrid services. Do not retrieve all debrid caches if you do not really need them. Multiple services can be passed as a comma separated list.
                      refresh
                      No
                      Bool
                      true / false
                      true
Whether to make a fresh cache lookup or return the last cache status known to Orion. Fresh lookups will make API calls to external debrid servers and are therefore slower. Using the last known status is a lot faster, but only works with Orion IDs and not with raw hashes or links.

                      Depends
                      String
                      XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
The Orion ID of the movie or episode the look up. Only a single item ID can be requested. Must be used in combination with stream IDs. This parameter is not needed if you look up raw links or hashes.
                      idstream
                      Depends
                      List
                      YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
The Orion ID of the stream to lookup. Must be used in combination with an item ID. Multiple stream IDs can be passed in as an array when making JSON requests. For GET and POST requests, URL arrays can be used: streamid[]=id0 &streamid[]=id1 &streamid[]=id2 &streamid[]=id3.
                      link
                      Depends
                      List
                      https://filehoster.com/somefile
The hoster links to check against the debrid cache. Links for .torrent or .nzb files are not supported. Torrent magnets work, but you should rather extract the hash and pass it to the API call to save bandwidth. Only Premiumize supports hoster caching. Multiple links can be passed in as an array when making JSON requests. For GET and POST requests, URL arrays can be used: link[]=link1 &link[]=link2 &link[]=link3. Links must be URL-encoded when passed as GET or POST parameters.
                      hash
                      Depends
                      List
                      1a2b3c4d5e1a2b3c4d5e1a2b3c4d5e1a2b3c4d5e
The torrent hashes to check against the debrid cache. Torrent magnets work, but you should rather extract the hash and pass it to the API call to save bandwidth. Premiumize, OffCloud, RealDebrid, DebridLink, and AllDebrid support torrent caching. SHA1 hashes are fully supported, whereas SHA26 from BitTorrent version 2 have limited support. Multiple hashes can be passed in as an array when making JSON requests. For GET and POST requests, URL arrays can be used: hash[]=hash1 &hash[]=hash2 &hash[]=hash3.
                      item
                      Depends

This parameter is the same as the hash and link parameters, except that you can pass both a link and a hash to it. This is useful if you have a mix of torrent and hoster links and want to look them up together. The same requirements of the hash and link options apply.
